We also manufacture a self dispensing box of rolled foil 800' x 4 3/4" that is also adaptable to most dispensers. Why Foil LightsFor several years, stylists have been using paper coloring strips or aluminum foil as accessories to color highlighting. A significant by-product of using aluminum foil rather than paper is that a chemical reaction causing heat occurs when color is applied to the hair. A metal alloy, such as aluminum retains the heat far better than paper. Additionally, the ends of the foil sheets can be closed where as paper cannot, presenting the color product from undesirable expanding. Lastly, due to the absorbency of the paper, the oil and the coloring mixture tends to separate, where as with foil, separation does not occur. Foil Lights are pre-cut. There is no labor involved in cutting or tearing to an appropriate size for coloring. There is not waste, should the foil inappropriately tear in the time consuming cutting process, and our packaging permits unused foil to be stored, again minimizing waste of material , or a cluttered store room.
